I like the concept of the story - the life of an individual from birth to death.
Despite the horrific writing at times and many links that just didnt fit perfectly, the general flow and spirit of the story was very enjoyable and I spent a lazy day living in the past.
Battle scenes worked well on my first read.
Okay so my wife had her third baby when she was about 60-62 years old! That was weird. I suspected other age related glitches with minor characters but no big deal.
If you want a story with a lot of interaction, get Sorcery series. If you like to read about the medieval ages and dont mind just gently steering the story, then consider this.
